Personal books of Avalon Brantley

Dear readers, collectors and connoisseurs. I have discovered the Brantley Collection by chance, while doing some research on a Richard Gavin book.

In agreement with Ben Brantley I would like to share this information with you:

"Avalon Brantley was a musician and author. She died suddenly in March 2017. Her books and music are being sold to benefit the family she left behind. You may download an Excel listing of her books and/or music. If you want to buy something, contact her father Ben and work out a mutually agreed price."

The listings and the above quotation can be found here:

Krakakas!

Goodness gracious. Looking at that list is dizzying. I wonder what Brantley's day job was to afford all those volumes.

Fine taste in music as well. It's incredibly depressing to see all this "left behind".

This post is made, again, in agreement with Ben Brantley, father of the late Avalon Brantley. He writes:

"The inscribed books that I have found so far are:

The Exaltation of the Minotaur with note from the author, Damian Murphy
* SOLD *
Seduction of the Golden Pheasant with note from the author, Damian Murphy * SOLD *
Conflagration, Immoral Vignettes with note from the publisher of her first book, Dan Ghetu * SOLD *
Virtue in Danger with a card inserted and note from the publisher of her last book, Jonas Ploeger * SOLD *
Cinnabar's Gnosis with note from the publisher of her first book in the same year, 2013, Dan Ghetu * SOLD *
Each of these books is dear to us and I will part with them for her family. The prices will be negotiated individually with anyone interested. If a potential buyer might want a particular book beyond even the 5 above, I will reserve it for them until they either buy or decline."
