It's nice to see them cranking production up. Anyone have an idea of what's next on the list for summer and fall?

I believe it is George Berguño's The Sons of Ishmael and D.P. Watt's An Emporium of Automata. The Master in Café Morphine is going to be ready soon as well, it has been delayed slightly since Dan has been working on a very nice exclusive addition to the announced volume.

Anyone else here who hasn't received the Mark Samuels book yet? I've been watching the post for my copy every day, but no package has arrived.

My own copies still haven't arrived either. It's very disappointing.

I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive.

Oh my, so much excitement within the realm of Ex Occidente Press, and all within a few days. Whatever shall I do? Both the John Howard and D.P. Watt collections intrigue me, and I am also especially curious about the surprise addition to The Master in Cafe Morphine. But alas, money is tight and I really should not be spending on all these lovely books.

But I know I will. I can resist anything but temptation.

Also, I was happy to find a copy of Claude Seignolle's The Nightcharmer and Other Tales at my boyfriend's university library, so I shall be able to get a taste of his writing. If I like it enough, most likely I will need to order a copy of The Black Cupboard as well, not to mention a copy of The Accursed. The library collection also holds some other works by Seignolle, both his fiction and scholarly works on folklore, but unfortunately they are all in French. I now wish I had taken my university French studies more seriously, but I am afraid I have lost almost all of the tenuous possession of the language that I once had.

Speaking for myself, Ex Occidente has injected a much needed shot of creativity and enthusiasm into the small press that is a breath of fresh air.

There are others that are making a difference, as well, and as a reader it is greatly appreciated.

The D.P. Watt collection looks interesting. I haven't read any of his work yet because his first collection, Pieces for Puppets, appeared sold out before I intended to buy it. There's a very slight bittersweet note to the latest books from E.O.--the print runs dropping to a little below 200.

If this is the case with Reggie Oliver's upcoming novella (Virtue in Danger), I shudder to imagine the prices it could command from book hustlers based on what happened with his first two story collections.

The Silver Voices are apparently material; though they should be heard, they can be seen below. The book should be out very soon.

I have just this minute finished reading and reviewing 'The Man Who Collected Machen & Other Stories' by Mark Samuels.

Once you can hear them it is already too late.
