The End of The Teeming Brain
I'm shutting down The Teeming Brain after blogging there for 16 years. The first post that drew a crowd was my October 2006 interview with Tom. So my emotional attachment to the blog is bound up with my emotional attachment to Tom and his work.
I'm closing TTB to make way for a new project on the horizon. It launches next week. Read about it here.

Re: The End of The Teeming Brain
Thank you for the Teeming Brain and for all of the brain cycles spent processing it. It's been a tremendous resource for me over the years and I look forward to the next venture.

Re: The End of The Teeming Brain
It was The Teeming Brain that led me to TLO and helped me come to terms with my frequent episodes of sleep paralysis.
But I am certain that what follows will not be any less brilliant or engaging. Thanks, Matt, and may the Muse ever whisper in your ear.

Re: The End of The Teeming Brain
Thank you all for the kind words. I've been honestly surprised in the past couple of days to hear so many people saying how meaningful TTB has been to them over the years. I originally launched it as a passion project that I didn't know if anybody else would notice or read. The fact that it found its audience, including you, was and is an unexpected blessing.
