Vast Abrupt and the Gateway to the West

Not sure where to put this, so I will put it here...

There is a site I quite like called "Vast Abrupt," which features a number of writers I am fond of. Erudite theory, and fiction. Sometimes a mixture of both.

Anyway, want to highlight this story, which I think folks here will like:

Gateway to the West Vast Abrupt

Suggest looking through the rest of the site as well.

Thank you very much for these, really. I've just bookmarked Vast Abrupt. Things of an underground and inexplicable nature are best left to art and NOT social media. That's not the kind of thing one can just reduce to mere product and sell in the Mall of America.

It in some ways reminds me of this other site, albeit more strictly literary and less visually aesthetic. Either way, both examples are demonstrably superior to sterile social media wank sites in nearly every way. Many who're simply untalented and bitter over this, write off experimental, self-designed personal sites as dinosaurs. However that may be, I'd rather have a hand in a living breathing atavism of something compelling and dignified and REAL, than a mere carbon copy of a carbon copy of a carbon copy.

Anyway, enough from me, onto the site.

Reply isn't working on my tablet, so I'll just cut and paste the comment by trieffiewiles...

Since I'm here, I may as well mention that the guy behind that site has a book out now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0997272309

I just stumbled across an announcement about it today, clicked a link to his site, and thought "oh wow, it's by the person who created that." Definitely an interesting site to get lost in.
