Hi, I am looking for the english edition (if it's ever been published in english) of

"On the tragic" by Peter Wessel Zapffe

which i cannot find here ...
Does anyone can give me any advice?

Hi Ilsa! I think you have to teach yourself Norwegian... I found this link with extra info:

And it's Wessel.

This is the only German book, that exists on Zapffe. But it is nowhere to be found. The website, that offered this book, doesn't exist anymore. I had the chance to order one copy. In this book you can find the essay 'The Last Messiah', introductions to 'On the Tragic' and also a whole chapter translated from this work.... and comments on his play 'The lost son'....
