Some Great Videos

Here's the video for Kylie's Come Into My World. Just possibly the best video ever made:

And here's another of my favourites. We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It International Rescue.

It's Thunderbirds meets Barbarella!

Hmmm... Looking at this YouTube version of Kylie's "Come into My World" video, I find that doesn't work too well. Really, it needs to be viewed at DVD quality. It's really amazing on the Ultimate Kylie DVD. Honest!

Here's another of my favourites:

Edit:
I'd like to add that a favourite bit for me is when the girl pulls a face after taking a bite from the fig.

Hmmmm... Four videos, so far, one vote of thanks. Still, I don't really care if people don't like these. Onwards and upwards...

This is the very wonderful Shampoo with their cover of the Waitress' song "I Know What Boys Like". The Shampoo cover is way better than the original.

To add a little background information, Jaqui Blake and Carrie Askew, who were Shampoo, were (before that) school friends. The name Shampoo is said to stem from schooldays when they were known as the shampoo girls because, whenever boys asked them out, they said they were washing their hair. If they did take their name from this, "I Know What Boys Like" is probably their most shampoo song.

Here's another cover version that's much better than the original. It's Daphne & Celeste putting a bit of life into Alice Cooper's "School's Out". This version is much more heartfelt than Alice Cooper's, I feel, because when they made it Daphne & Celeste were still of an age to be at school.

In the video, I like the way -- at one point -- the camera follows a paper dart.

This may be the weirdest of Goldfrapp's videos. The sexiness of the dog-headed nurses is downright disturbing (I think).

I'm glad that someone else has contributed to this thread -- I was wondering whether anyone ever would.

To my mind, though, a great video has to combine a fine record with fine visuals. The quality of sound or picture is, of course, a matter of opinion. But I think that the Gangster Teletubbies combines a great visual with dreadful soundtrack. Maybe that's just me. I hate men rapping (although an occasional bit of a girl rapping is something I can enjoy -- notably Blondie's "Rapture" and a number of things by Betty Boo).

The Two Man Gentleman Band with Fancy Beer is the opposite. I really liked the song, but the visual element seemed to me a bit lacking.

Another Goldfrapp video, this time for a song from their most recent album:

Every time I see the title of another popular thread here, this song starts running through my head.

Indeed, you are correct, sir! Like you, my taste for rap is EXTREMELY limited. Also, like most folks here I assume, I would never have seen that Teletubbies thing if someone hadn't shown it to me. I thought it was funny (being a Teletubbies fan) and thought I would share.
The Two Man Gentleman Band don't have any great videos yet, but I think their music is fantastic. I thought you would like it.
Now, this is a video.

Here are a couple of my favorites from the YouTube that are fitting for this forum (I think). The first one is a fairly creepy music video:

I can't see many of the other videos posted above for some reason, maybe it's my browser (Safari 3.2.1)?

It's not just your's. Some things just aren't there anymore.

How about this?
