    I was just browsing, seeking poetic nourishment as I prepare to begin my new book, when my email alerted me to your request just now. Thank you very much. I've not been here as often as I have wanted, been seduced by the novelty of other groups such as Facebook and MySpace -- but they have already lost their brief allure, because the people there, for the most part, are neither very intellectual nor literary. (Gawd, I'm such a snob.) They don't DO ANYTHING, there's no creative input in those groups, they just join for social contact, I think. Too boring. Here, we are active, we thrive with a love for dark poetry & prose, we post and we comment and it is exhilarating. Those other online realms of online zombies really pale compar'd to TLO!
    The Black Ferris
    My apologies for the late reply. I haven't been to this place in some time. I'll try to answer your question in a succinct manner. The Black Ferris is the name of the original Bradbury short from which "Something Wicked This Way Comes" was derived. Ferris refers to the wheel, of course, but also can mean a carnival barker or director. In my werk, I run the Dark Carnival Film Festival, an international festival with a carnival/sideshow theme. I am a horror host for ATOMIC AGE CINEMA! which basically means I'm a clown. I am also a writer/filmmaker who's favorite themes are carnivals, dolls and puppets, freaks, sideshows and black magick, generally as side story to strangeness in people's lives. In my "religious" beliefs, The Ferris is the title of High Dollmaker in the order of Vrt Lrh. The color is dependent upon the werk. Anything else, just ask. And you?

    Dear Jimmy,
    The latest terrorist attacks have been keeping me busy. There is a lot of news and intelligence to sort through. Whomever actually did the last couple of attacks in India and pakistan doesn't matter. The professional level leads us to think that al Qaeda was involved in the planning. It's a busy time for Dept. of Homeland Security.
    I hope that you are doing well. I wish you and your family a good christmas. I hope it's a good time of yearwhatever your beliefs.
