  • Glad to hear you will have some free time coming up to burn on games. One of the - essential, if you ask me :) - spices of life they are.

There is another pinball simulator, Visuall Pinball, that is not quite as flash as Future Pinball (doesn't have any dynamic 3d camera chase modes) yet still very good. VP also requires less processing power than FP to run at full tilt. Most alluring is it has tons more tables than FP. In fact, just about every pinball table produced in the 20th century has been recreated for VP. The VP simulator and all the VP tables are available for free at www.vpforums.org.
    Another fun FP table:

This one is more cheesy than aesthetic, but still lots of fun. Over a hundred more FP tables of many different subjects and of varying quality (many are quite good) can be found via the links page at the main site.

Greetings Candy, Recently I learned about a great free pinball simulator called Future Pinball that I thought you might be interested in since you've spent some time in the arcade and seem to be fond of a wide variety of games. Here's a shot of the the Li II table based on Giger's painting of the same name:

The FP simulator program is available at www.futurepinball.com, and the Li II table can be downloaded here:

In the latter case you'll have to register at the site to download, but it is free and without risk of obligations or spam.
    Dear Candy,

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's always wonderful to hear from you! I hope we get a chance to catch up sometime soon.

    Love,

    Nicole

Hey! How are you & yours? Well, I hope. All's well enough here. I'll have to find you & Phil onlione some nigh for a chat.
Without going into to many details my life is changing right now. Please be patient if you leave a message for me here. I may not be able to check it for awhile.
I had a feeling that the Dixie Chicks might be a point at which your musical tastes overlapped with mine. I have 4 of their albums -- "Wide Open Spaces", "Fly", "Home" and "Taking the Long Way". I also have the DVD "An Evening with the Dixie Chicks Live from the Kodak Theatre". Great stuff!

"Jane" is going well. Today, I've finished work on the 18th chapter (2 more remain). If you'd like to see more of the book let me know.

    Love, Pet
You may pleased that, at this moment, I'm listening to the Dixie Chicks rather than Daphne & Celeste. :)

Darling, do you have any of my books? I've just gotten some copies of SESQUA VALLEY & OTHER HAUNTS as royalty payment. If you'd like a gift copy, private message me your home address and I shall poft it to ye. Love & Lipstick Kisses, Wilum.
Thanks for your lovely message, which I finally read in its entirety at work today. I'm afraid that there's no hurry about emailing me -- I am unlikely to be able to read my emails until at least the middle of next week!
A belated Happy New Year wish to you, my darling. I love your deliciously friendly spirit. You are a light in darkness. Kisses.
I appreciate the welcoming. It's interesting how I came about this place and this author particularly. One of the college courses I have taken this past semester was Horror Literature and it just so happened that one of his stories was in our text: 999 (collected, as you probably are well aware, by Al Sarrantonio). The story itself was fascinating and I had decided on making my final presentation on his contribution to the anthology (The Shadow, The Darkness). My research brought me here to find out more about the author. Interesting guy, to say the least.

Before I go on too long, I'll stop.
