  • Speaking of Ito, there's this game project I've been following off-and-on. Again only recently because I'd bitterly thought it defunct, but the dude's resurfaced. I liked the older footage better because of its primitivism and atmosphere. For me, the newer footage just doesn't grab me the same. I still hope it happens though.

I could tell what you meant. While there are plenty of digital artists I like, many of them being just as prodigal in traditional means, one major weakness of the medium is its difficulty in conveying really powerful emotions except in the case with very skilled artists. Its like the medium is so refined, sanitary, and streamlined, and thereby sterile in most users hands.

Another example of an artist who I find incredibly powerful who usually works with digital media is Masahiro Ito, the guy who did most of the creature designs and textures for the original Team Silent. Yeah, most people in digital can't touch that adept territory though. No argument here.
Oh yes, she is definitely one of those animorph fetishists, not everyone's cup of tea for sure. Her compositions are insane though, I could tell she lucid dreams from the moment I saw her work.

As for WhiteFox, I'll probably have to bookmark her (or fave her, if you're on a PC). I've always been envious of people with enough subtlety to know which colors to mute and which lines to place less emphasis on. It saves time and makes for a much more elegant picture. Everything I ever do to so heavy metal and oversaturated. Not that I hate metal or anything. I just don't consider myself married to it, and I appreciate those whose approach is more uncertain and chameleon-like.
Ideally I would post this on your deviantArt, but it doesn't seem like you're very active there, not that I really blame you. All that aside, this woman is a 'ferocious' talent to put it mildly. I am thinking you'll agree even if you don't like her work itself.

So great are her powers of visualization that, were the theoretical technology present in The Cell a tangible thing in this reality, she would be more than a match for most serial killers within their own minds.

Yes, I know I am not very sociable. Not that that matters. What matters now is that I've discovered a rather strange website through a youtube channel called Nightmare Expo. It felt sort of sketchy at first but the more I looked about, it became completely clear to me that this is simply an independent art project and not some deep-web cult. Its strange though, too strange not to share.

Alright, I though that was you. Here, I've always wanted to post this guy's paintings on a thread here because his visions are uniquely mutated in a manner that reminds me of Ligotti in a few ways. Alas, my stupid Mac, which thus far is rather nice in other ways, won't allow me to copy and paste onto this website, though I can do so with other programs. Its really quite maddening. Either way, someone here, especially another fiend for strange visualizations like yourself, ought to know about this guy. Hopefully this will be a new discovery for you, at the very least I've not seen him mentioned anywhere in the art threads, and certain things about him really remind me of Ligotti. I believe his name is Suguru Tanaka. Cheers.

Hey, this is regarding the Requiem Vampire Knight thread. I created one thread but it somehow got duplicated and two threads were created and I put one of them in ignore; it just so happens that it is the one were you posted.

Do you know how to un-ignore the thread or how I can delete one of them? Also, if you do not know how to do this, could you please copy your post and paste it on the other thread so I can answer it?

    Thank you in advance!
