  • The best single collection (in my opinion) is The Nightfarers which is still in print - never seen a copy with the alternate cover though. There are a couple of stories in The Rite of Trebizond not included else where but there probably not worth going down the route I took.

The Collected Connoisseur is going to be a lovely book - I don't know if it is to do with a printer change but the paper type looks to be more durable and sturdy than any of their previous paperbacks.

(For some reason I have a strange habbit of looking for reviews just after I've read the book in question.)
    Hi starrysothoth

Out of interest did you ever review Mark Valentine's The Rite of Trebizond and Other Tales? Sorry to randomly barge in with questions like this.

    All the best
I posted some images that you might find interesting over at my place. Check them out if you get a chance. By the way; I didn't forget about your CoC. I'll get on that soon. I've been on vacation for two weeks and away from my copy machine, but I will send it. Again, sorry it's taking so long. Tim Tim
Some time if you want I can photocopy CoC for you and send it to you. Or I could scan it and send it to you that way. That way, at least you can read it's contents. Just let me know. Tim
Looking forward to your interview. Been staying away too long from TLO. I was just gonna be here a little while to-night, then get back to work on WEIRD INHABITANTS OF SESQUA VALLEY -- but nigh that I'm here, I cannot leave just yet...or yet...or yet again....
one of the models i have here on my shelves...

nevertheless i'm thinking about expanding my waterline series...there are so many excellent japanese battleship models out there, especially of smaller manufacturers

Just wanted to finally wish you a very daemonic new year, with many eldritch dreams. I've been obsess'd trying to finish the new book, and I think I'm wearing myself out. Inspiration is at a stand-still. The thing I'm working on is a prose-poem sequence inspir'd by entries in HPL's Commonplace Book -- I've posted the first segment in my "Green Fairy" thread. It has gone from being Lovecraftian to slightly Ligottian, and then back to HPLish -- then these past two days I try'd for ye Poesque, but inspiration hath wither'd. Chronic insomnia is partly to blame. So now I'm gonna go back to being Lovecraftian-up-ye-arse and see if that kicks in ye burning visions of my black seething brain. Pray to Yog-Sothoth for my sanity & soul!! Ia!!
