  • Hey Swans:

Don't know much about the band though I do have M. Gira's book "The Consumer," which I should tout on this site. It still stands as a touchstone for depressive fiction. I do remember when Jarboe was selling alot of her stuff online in the 90s. It was a bit too pricey for me then, but I followed it with interest.

So, am I to gather from your posts that you're an editor? Of which works are you most proud?

Right now I'm taking a break from fiction and reading a book called "The Reshaping of Everyday Life" about ordinary life in the early 19th century. I'm an architectural historian/historic preservationist/environmental compliance manager by trade.

    Best regards,

    Kevin
Hi Hopfrog. I edit nonfiction usually, mostly dissertations these days. How about emailing me, as I don't get here often and have little patience for all the interfaces, etc. Thanks for checking me out. I need more clarification about the "voices" question. --Noel (noelpratt2nd@yahoo.com)
I am curious about that which you edit -- if it is not out of place to publicly ask such a thing. I'm also interested, if you record, the nature of your noise and its availability to those who would explore it. Thank you. I have not yet explor'd your threads -- there is so much to read at this wondrous site!! -- but I shall begin to do so to-morrow after I do my day's writing. We are snow'd in, and so I won't be going to church & will thus have oodles of time that are usually deny'd me on Shabbat.
