Christopher Slatsky

Thank you for posting the review Des. And thanks to Scott Dwyer for pointing it out to me. And another thank you to Mark Samuels for reading the collection and taking the time and effort to offer a detailed review. If I ever decided to follow up with a second collection I think I'd title it Damp Squibs. :)

Though that first paragraph of the review and the "unnamed" mystery author has me wondering what I may have missed in whatever drama occured behind the scenes!

Christopher Slatsky posts about his contribution to Vastarien: A Literary Journal, his first Ligotti purchases, and shares a piece of teenage Slatsky Ligottian pastiche.

Thank you for sharing this Ted. I'm touched anyone read my blog post.

Your reply seems to contain a touch of sadness. Alectryomancer and Other Weird Tales is an important book to me, so there are people who do in fact care what you're up to.

Just read Mr. Slatsky's 'Affirmation of the Spirit' in the new Vastarien literary journal, INCREDIBLE. This would be my first exposure to Mr. Slatsky's work, now I gotta have more. Mission already accomplished, Vastarien!

Alectryomancer and Other Weird Tales is an amazing work, especially for someone relatively new to the field. I'm always interested in what Christopher Slatsky writes and follow his blog religiously. One of the many reasons to get my copy of Vasterien is to read his piece. I'm looking forward to reading it.

News!

I have read a few of Chris’s stories scattered around in various anthologies but I’ll definitely pick this up at some point.
