- A small scene, but still a long-time favorite from Videodrome; I've always loved how crypto-fascist quisling Harlan alternates from decrying perversion and moral decay with a whole string of unconsciously sexual adjectives for his dream of authoritarian purity; also, in an already incredibly prescient film, it struck me how uncannily much techie Harlan prefigures the current crop of alt-right/dark web losers - which makes his finale, one of the great scenes of cinematic comeuppance, all the more satisfying:
