Earwig

Mannikin
Earwig.

Images and frissons from the Liggoti corpus leap from his pages and onto the widescreen in this film masterpiece.

Anhedonia gets its filmic definition in Earwig.

One of those movies where seeing it in a widescreen theater is a milestone event in a life.

Thank you for bringing this film to my attention. It sounds intriguing. Unfortunately, I doubt it will ever be available on the large screen where I live. It may show in Cleveland, some 40+ miles away. I don't see it on any streaming platform yet.
I've spent the last hour looking into the work of the author, Brian Catling. His work is highly regarded, even garnering praise from Alan Moore. It looks like the last post from Brian, from Swan River Press, was about Catling's novel Munky (featuring cover at by Dave McKean). That also looks interesting.

I've attached a schedule which shows the last remaining play dates in the US, i imagine. Unfortunately it played in Cleveland last spring. I just learned of the film a couple of days ago and plan to see it again Wednesday.

I of course would recommend watching on any size screen, but have to say that on in a full screen theater with a good sound
system, the cinematography and sound design were unbelievably well done.
