En français...

Some time ago, I came across the following bibliography of Ligotti's stories translated into French. I don't remember on which site though... Hope the owner of the site, who took the pain to compile this bibliography won't mind my posting it here. As you will see, it's only in anthologies that Ligotti's stories have been published.

I don't own any of those, but the translated titles are close enough to the original to infer that they are translations of the following stories : "The Greater Festival of Masks", "Alice's Last adventure", "Eye of the Lynx", "The Shadow, The Darkness" and "The Sect of the Idiot".

I am happy to confirm that Dystopia Workshop just published Chants du cauchemar et de la nuit, which contains «Petits jeux» («The Frolic») ; «Rêve d'un mannequin» («Dream of a Manniquin») ; «Le Chymiste» («The Chymist») ; «L'Art perdu du crépuscule» («The Lost Art of Twilight») ; «Dr Voke et Mr Veech» («Dr Voke and Mr Veech») ; «Vastarien» («Vastarien») ; «Nethescurial» («Nethescurial») ; «Miss Plarr» («Miss Plarr») ; «L'Ombre au fond du monde» («The Shadow at the Bottom of the World») ; «Conversation dans une langue morte» («Conversation in a Dead Language») ; «Le Tsalal» («The Tsalal»). «Les Cocons» («The Cocoons») will be published separately in the annual anthology of the publishing house. Adding the french edition of "My Work is Not Yet Done" published by Monts Métallifères in 2024 under the name "Mon travail n'est pas terminé".
It also includes two short stories from Teatro Grottesco: "Our Temporary Supervisor" ("Notre superviseur temporaire") and "My Case for Retributive Action" ("Pour une justice rétributive") as well as the two short stories from the original collection.

In 2026, we got:

- The paperback edition of "My Work is Not Yet Done" ("Mon travail n'est pas terminé") by Payot & Rivages. It contains the other two stories from the original book, but not the two short stories from "Teatro Grottesco" that were included in the edition from Monts Métallifères.
