Well this is the cover of the greek edition of the Nightmare Factory. This volume is a collection of Thomas work and not a translation of the prototype. The stories included were selected by him and the editor. It isn't dark enough but it's ok...

Notes on the writing of Horror: A Story

From Grimscribe:

From Teatro Grottesco and Other Tales:

Here are some photos of this book. Two editions were released, the first one (with the colored cover) was in 1999, while the second one was a part of a limited seven-books boxset called "Σ Κ Ο Τ Α Δ Ι" (2001).Basically the one with the black/white cover is an exact reprint with different cover.

I know that this edition is mentioned here, but i have not seen any photos around, so i decided to add some of my copy. This is the second (and last) 'till today Ligotti publication in Greek language. It was released in 2003, titled 'ΕΧΩ ΕΝΑ ΞΕΧΩΡΙΣΤΟ ΣΧΕΔΙΟ ΓΙ' ΑΥΤΟ ΤΟΝ ΚΟΣΜΟ' (I have a special plan for this world) from 'ΤΥΠΩΘΗΤΩ / ΔΑΡΔΑΝΟΣ' publications (ISBN : 9604020919). It's a bilingual edition as it has the text appearing on each left hand page in English and on each right hand page translated into Greek.

It’s really one of the most beautiful of Ligotti’s book editions. Thanks for sharing!

If I am not mistaken, this was the first Ligotti book translated into a foreign language. I did own this at one time. I still may.

I own a copy of the I HAVE A SPECIAL PLAN FOR THIS WORLD dual language edition as well. FYI There is one on Ebay that has been there for quite a while. It is 275$ which probably explains why it is still there.

Yes, pricing for this is crazy, but it must have been due to the scarcity....I got one at the time of it's release for about 8 euro! Funny thing is that i know that Ziesings sold at least one copy of this for $275...

This is the third Ligotti publication in the Greek language.First edition was published November 2023 and a second edition followed on January 2025(the one pictured below).

Translation by Chrysostomos Tsaprailis and published by Antipodes.

Check ISBNs, Nov 2023 and Jan 2025 are mostly the same. Latest edition fixes typos and layout; Tsaprailis’ translation is solid
