I could have enjoyed this more if the makeup choice did not have the earworm below pop in my head periodically while viewing. I checked the web the following day and many viewers made the unfortunate connection.

I am super excited for this one. Jane Schoenbrun has yet to disappoint. I thought We're All Going to the World's Fair and I Saw the TV Glow were very idiosyncratic and truly weird films, they resonated with me. They are also doing an adaptation of Charles Burns' Black Hole (!!) as a Netflix series, and have their first novel, Public Access Afterworld, coming in October. So much good stuff coming!
