I am still kind of amazed to say that I am putting out a chapbook from Jeffrey Thomas, an excellent author and good friend. Jeffrey wrote a story specifically for this chapbook, the first release from my new press Dim Shores.

GHOSTS IN AMBER takes place in Gosston, the same setting as his story “The Prosthesis” in THE GRIMSCRIBE’S PUPPETS. It is a strange and haunting examination of loss and regret, wrenching and beautifully told. Fellow TLOer Serhiy Krykun did the cover art and two interior pieces that perfectly complement the story. Available now for pre-order, shipping in early June. Limited to 100 numbered copies.

I hope to release a new chapbook every two to three months. Up next is Matthew M. Bartlett, tentatively scheduled for publication in July. Thanks for reading this!

Dim Shores starts off with a bang.

A press entirely devoted to novellas and novelettes is such a fantastic idea, as those are my two favorite lengths as a writer and a reader.

I agree -- Dim Shores is off to a great start, and promises to be even better. I'm so glad you decided to do this, Sam.
