Recent References to Poe

I've written a lengthy introduction (entitled "Immortal Renown") to the Centipede Press Collected Poe volume, but I'm not sure if the book's out yet.

I guess it's been a few years since that ridiculously awful show, "The Following", with Kevin Bacon was on TV, but it did contain a fun little reference to Poe. The villain (played by James Purefoy) was an English professor obsessed with Poe's work and the crowning achievement of his career was that he took Poe's unfinished final work "The Lighthouse" and turned it into a complete novel. I don't know if they ever detail on the show what his version of "The Lighthouse" entailed exactly (I couldn't get past the first 6 episodes) but I doubt that it was any good.
