The Dark Door (horror fiction zine)

https://illadvisedrecords.com/shop/thedarkdoorissue1

I saw a link to this on the zines subreddit and ordered a copy, pretty much based on the cover illustration. I don't know anything about Ill Advised Records, but I'm always in the mood for new zines, especially horror themed. I received my copy in the mail today, and so far I've only read the introduction and looked at the layouts. The intro cites buying a stack of Whispers off Ebay as an inspiration, and mentions that they pay for fiction/art/poetry, although I'm sure they don't pay extravagantly. The artwork is very nice, kind of an amalgam of the style of Weirdbook/Eerie Country with the zines I used to read in the 90s.

Here's the ToC:
Ten-Legged Spider by Austin Thomas
A Poor Choice by Roland Bridge
Corvidae by Anna Ojinnaka
Treasurehunting by Brooke Durkan
Grotesque by JT Perkins
The Ghastly Neon Nights by Thomas Farr
Voices in the Hall by Thomas Stewart
Brain Injury by Samuel Frost

With illustrations by Chris Cote (the publisher), Aaron Lawrence, Julio Lopez, Left-To-Right Studios, Jennifer S Lange and Arning Echo.
I just read the fiction and none of it was amazing, with Treasurehunting being the best of the bunch in my opinion, a little vignette about a girl who finds something upsetting while looking for 'treasures' on a shoreline during low tide. I'm not at all sorry that I got it, but it's not essential reading by any means.

I sent a message asking if they do, I'll let you know how they respond.
(edit)
Just got back to me, they said they ship anywhere. I wonder if they've had to deal with shipping to the EU, I know Undertow who publishes Weird Horror stopped shipping there because of VAT regulations.

Hey thank you for that. I'll have a look at the details when I can access another computer. Although, yeah, even though I'm not in the EU the chances of any overseas delivery reaching me these days seem to come down to a coin toss.
