The Order of Odor? (Page 28)

Thank you Mr. Ligotti for letting us be disillusioned by your great writing for free for now ;)

But I will be sure buying it when it comes out

I have read the first part and it is awesome; it is a crystallization of the thoughts that I have thought for a long time! which is of course a distraction and a sublimation:)

Once I read the whole thing I'll be sure to get back on here with my thoughts.

I found one mistake I think on page 28:
Ask Gilles de Rais, who confessed to the sexually motivated
disfigurement and murder of scores and perhaps hundreds of children, then was executed in good odor with the Church for his spoken repentance and therewith reserved a place for himself in God’s heaven.
Shouldnt "odor" be order? In fact I keep on thinking that phrase should be "in good order by the church" but maybe I'm reading it wrong.

I suppose there's no mistake as the expression "to be in good/bad odo(u)r" is simply a formal way of saying that someone has or doesn't have someone's approval and support.
