Ascrobius
Our Temporary Supervisor
I have been going through random bits of artwork from Harry Morris, and as I stated some time ago I will post some of these images here. The originals prints either came to me from Harry or Tom, or, they went from Harry, to Tom, then to me. I have a rather vast collection of these interesting little bits of artwork, and again, thought I'd share for anyone that might be interested.
All but one date back to the 80s. That one being the rather obvious draft image that would ultimately become part of the artwork for MWINYD.
Number 5 was sent to Tom from Harry and Christine, which was a tradition for them to do. They (or he) would often print various things of interest and send them to friends during the holiday season, for example, say, at Halloween, Christmas or New Years. I will post more in the future as I said.
Edit*
As our friend below pointed out, plate 5 is indeed a JK Potter plate. As most likely know, JKP and Harry worked together quite a lot and shared many images via snail mail back in that era to share their work, ideas, etc. I believe this image was shared during the Nyctalops years, and although I will go looking to confirm later, it may actually have been published in Nyctalops, though at the moment I am not sure but will check. As I stated below, the path of that image was from JKP, to Harry, to Tom, then to me. And once again, my apologies for the error and will be sure to be less careless moving forward. The last thing I want to do is misrepresent anything or anyone.
