It's good to start the day off by reading a puppet/clown/dream/dark passage of the day or a couple of quirk classics, but how about a short film?
I remember how I used to collect short horror films I have seen during horror film festivals and how difficult it was to find any of them online. Now with YouTube, that's a different story.
So from now on, whenever you watch a surreal/bizarre/ghostly/Ligottian horror short, which you feel is worth sharing with fellow Ligottians, don't forget about this thread.

About a month ago Cyril Tourneur started a post for E. Elias Merhige's Din of Celestial Birds. Merhige's abstract piece of work would fit perfectly here. As would the Piotor Dumala's "destructive animations" thread you introduced. Amazing work all around from Yellowish Haze.

This is a great piece of work. It also appears on the US dvd of Aftermath along with an earlier short. Also enjoyed his film the abandoned, which seems most people are lukewarm about.

Keeping this in Spain - the short films of Jaume Balaguero.

Cerda is indeed a very talented director. I agree about The Abandoned. I cannot understand the low ratings. I remember starting this thread at TLO, just after watching it.
