AOS. I watched AOS at a filmfestival in the 1980's, in my late teens or early twenties. It was shown on a big theatre screen, and the volume was turned up very loud. I was shocked, and when I got finally got out of there, it was in a cold sweat and the ground seemed unstable under my feet. It felt like a fever dream.

Not exactly weird, but an interesting movie. It is the movie that started the career of Bill Bob Thornton. I saw the movie Sling Blade on the big screen when it came out. This short written by him preceded the movie. Molly Ringwald is in it. She is not in the feature length film.
