Your favourite song at the moment..

I've been feeling anxious these past few days. Yesterday, I discovered this song by Fjaer, whom I knew from another song called "11 Days," and I've had it on loop ever since... It's very relaxing.

I just LOVE Sand. The 'Golem' LP is a stone classic. Just in case you are unaware of them, Rotorelief issued a number of albums of unreleased Sand material. All are good to great. Iirc, there are five, each released as a numbered LP and CD. The cover art for the first four is by Steven Stapleton.

Yes, I do have those, though I just learned last night that another one came out more recently. New material? I'll check it out soon...

The newest one is Vibrating Cloud, which was released in 2020. It's all new material and new versions of some of the Golem tracks.

Yes, I just sampled some of it. I have to admit I'm a hard sell for this sort of thing. All (most of) that old stuff is good, but... You'd think considering how picky I am I'd have no books or records. But my house is filling up.

That said, I got a Can record in the mail today, the most recent installment of their live series. Live in Arles 1975.

Can is a group I've listened to for decades, but try as I might, I only consider them good, not great. Faust, Amon Duul II, and Neu are, to me, great. For a fact, when asked who my all-time favorite group is, Faust is the first one that comes to mind. They are even more amazing when one considers their backstory. Such an unprecedented anomaly!
