I'll just post a bit about myself here.

I'm Male 21 and I study Medieval History. I love animals

I've enjoyed weird fiction/subtle horror of a while but I discovered it through starting with the upcoming modern authors and then going back to the old classics.

Only read the New penguin edition of Ligotti stories but really loved them. I plan on getting my hands on the other collections soon. Other favourites are W.H. Hodgeson, V.H. Leslie, Clark Ashton Smith, Neil Gaiman, China Mieville and Clive Barker.

I also read Sci Fi, Fantasy and Classics like Steinbeck, Golding, Dickens and Shakespeare.

My Favorite Book of all time is Titus Alone by Mervyn Peake in case anyone is interested.

I don't know how many people will read your post, but it seems as good a place to introduce yourself as any. It appears that you have good literature taste indeed, and you'll probably find more to suit you on this site. Allow me to recommend Quentin S. Crisp, if you haven't started reading him yet.

I used to be a big Michael Moorcock reader, and I was turned on to Mervyn Peake because of him. I've been thinking about re-reading the trilogy, or at least the first two books. Thanks for the reminder!!
