Dang, it's actually kinda quiet and peaceful here in the bunker right now. I think a whole half hour has passed and no bombs have dropped yet. But we're all down here in the bunker together rapturously dreading the next outbreak of hostilities and bloody fighting and here I am with you all listening to Leonard Cohen's There Is A War, and I want to share this mighty hymn to agony with all of you my brothers, my fellow white knights in shining armor. I'm truly almost moved to tears, brothers! To think that there's not an honest knave among us all that isn't all white as a snowy field buried beneath forty metric tonnes of freshly defecated cow manure!!

The only thing greater than a Johnny Cash song or a Leonard Cohen song is a Leonard Cohen song sung by Johnny Cash. It's just the single all-time greatest singer-songwriter in Canadian recording history being sung by the single all-time greatest singer in American recording history. You just can't go wrong with it.
