Reading "The Perfect Author", spoilers now,
Spoiler
I want to say that it was the narrator who murdered Elsa, and not "Bertha." But I don't really have any concrete proof about it other than this odd gut feeling the story gave me.

It seems that all the books for preorder ("The Boke of the Divill" as well as "The Red Brain") are now sold out before they have even been released...Does that mean there is no chance of getting any of these?
Has anbody here placed an order?

They will both be available in paperback and ebook editions.

Re: Reggie Oliver

This Kickstarter campaign really confusing. I signed up to order The Red Brain hardcover and then they announced the Reggie Oliver pre-order, but their instructions are confusing as hell. It seems like I am supposed to cancel my order for The Red Brain and instead pledge the total amount of money for both books (without indicating that these are the titles I want)and trusting them to honor both of these orders.

Also, they seem to be offering several books which are already in print - which is just annoying. I've got my fingers crossed that I will end up with what I want. Sorry if this sounds like a first-world problem.

I had the same experience, Waffles, most confusing!

What I don't like is that you have to pledge $70 and choose the option "Pledge without an award". Legally, if you don't get the book then I guess you wouldn't have a leg to stand on because you've chosen the option to "Pledge without reward"

Dark Regions' process strikes me as balls.
Could not Boke of the Divil get released on another press?
Tartarus - Egaeus - Swan River - Snuggly - Side Real - who am I omitting?
Someone here know Mr Oliver? Ask him.

Agreed, this process is jacked. Not happy at all about how Dark Regions is handling this. Leaves a bad taste for Kickstarters like this. Why couldn't they just do a regular release? This really alienates fans.

Re: Reggie Oliver

It's a lazy way to get some free press and extract some extra bucks from the Weird Fiction Community (TM). And that "lazy" couldn't be overemphasized given how messy and rushed their entire pitch feels.

It's a bit too late for that.
