I don't think that you're on the hook legally. You don't have to honor a pledge. At least that's my understanding.

Regarding Kickstarter, if the Kickstarter hits the funding goal, the minute it closes they will bill your credit card. Don't pledge unless you are serious about it, if you change your mind it's not that simple to depledge once you get billed.

Oh I'm totally serious about my pledge as I have every Reggie book available so far. Just uneasy that I've been made to pledge $70 "Without Reward". I would rather have been given the option of pledging $70 "for Reggie Oliver hardback"

Hey everyone Dark Regions has Boke of the Divil up for preorder. Just put in my order. Looks like ebook and paperback up October 2017, signed hardcover March 2018. Should be right on the home page for them. Didn't know if anyone else knew about this.

Thanks for the heads up, Michael.
I did not pay the Kickstart because I thought the gimme palm was #### and Dark Regions stance ####ed up.
I hope others declined to endorse the pledge route, which I equated with a mix of hype and threat.
Anyway, I ordered now that Kickstart is not involved.
I bought almost all titles from D Regions now defunct line, Dark Renaissance, and I hope this has similar production values.

Any ideas about the precise release date for "The Boke..."? Some publishers have unfortunate habit to release horror novels/collection exactly on October 31, which is kinda silly because, even though it fits the holiday, you then end up reading the damn things after October and Halloween are over. I'm hoping that they aren't going for that, because I was looking forward to reading this during October.

I still have one of his collections left to read, but I would say that my favourite Reggie Oliver stories so far are Flowers of the Sea, Death Mask and The Boy in Green Velvet.

Well, according their latest KS update, Dark Regions guys will be sending out ebook and paperback copies of "The Boke of the Divill" for KS backers during this week, and the book should be made available for the rest of us too.

Why can't Drac Papes book 2 ever come out???? I can't believe that I'm the only one disappointed about this...

I love Reggie's writing, but I haven't read the first because I swore an oath never to start an unfinished book series after all these A Song of Ice and Fire shenanigans.

Might break my rule if people say the book is relatively standalone.

I forgot I also have for sale Masques of Satan, the Ash-Tree Press S/L hardcover.

It is, relatively. Can anyone in the know divulge whether the other books are at least mapped out, let alone written? Thanks

You'll find a handful of online interviews from around 2011-2013 where he says that the remaining books are plotted and he is writing the next one.

Madder Mysteries is the only Oliver collection I don't own. Will it remain in limbo?

Why don't you just wave a loaf of bread in front of a starving man while you're at it? ;)
