Ligotti's Unpublished Stories
I see the quotes of a few unpublished stories here and there like this one “But how does he know he is eating truth and not something else? He knows by the way each swallow feels as it goes down, by the way everything inside opens up a little wider, a little deeper each time, until there will be enough room to devour the universe and himself along with it. And he knows by the pain, which he cannot stop feeding if he doesn't want to die hungry.” is from The Deranged Poet.
Where can we read these? Are they available only in certain magazines? Are they lost forever? |

Re: Ligotti's Unpublished Stories
Thank you! I have tracked down AKLO: A Volume of the Fantastic on abebooks but the price is forbidding. I'll have to think about it.

Re: Ligotti's Unpublished Stories
Is there any possibility of Sub Press, Centipede, or (and this would be my personal preference) Grimscribe Press publishing the uncollected pieces???

It's one thing for Ligotti to no longer be producing new material, but it's quite another to think there are pieces of his work still floating around uncollected. I'm equally hopeful we might one day see affordable re-issues of The Spectral Link and The Agonizing Resurrection of Victor Frankenstein. |

Oh wow. I thought it might be 30 or 40 pages. That's VERY good to know. Thanks!

Re: Ligotti's Unpublished Stories
"The Mechanical Museum, collaboration with John B. Ford, published in his book The Evil Entwines"
Thanks Ramonoski. For anyone interested in this hard-to-find paperback, I just noticed that a "like new" copy of the 1st edition is available on Amazon UK for 49 pounds. (I already have the extended, 2nd edition due to the generosity of another TLO member, so I am passing on this one.) |

What might be the page count of all the uncollected pieces? Under 200 pages, my preference would be Borderlands Press as the price would be $30.00 plus S/H. |
