I'd snap it up, if I were you. ;)

Are you jesting? I think you must be, given the addition of the smiley. To be clear, copies of the Silver Scarab edition of SOADD normally go for $400 to $700, dependent upon condition.

Glad I sign-posted that - but yes, I was jesting. $3000 for a book boggles the mind (although I love books).

The only Ligotti any sane person has reason in paying $1000+ for, to be honest, would be one of the leatherbound copies of TAROVFAOGT, and the chance of finding such a copy is equivalent in the world of small press horror to finding the Sangrail. Only a copy of Punk-Surrealist Café or perhaps Grimoire is rarer...

Re: Purchasing Ligotti Books...

This is my first visit here. I only ran across Thomas Ligotti reading some Lovecraft critical essays. the name seemed familiar.

Then I saw this thread.

The Punk Surrealist Cafe and Nyctalops and Nocturne...indeed. I am quite surprised to discover 28 years later anyone has heard of these. Those were great days. Sutton Breiding and Harry Morris were on fire. Both were kind enough to publish some items of mine. I think I had the last prose poem in the last issue of PSC.

And yes, I do recall now that some fellow named Thomas Ligotti also published there. A few pages earlier in that last issue of PSC I believe.

I can't believe that anyone knows of these publications. I will have to round up my copies and revisit those days. Not sure what this community is interested in, but I will share what I can.
