Me too! And also to Quentin's chapbook, although I didn't pre-order All God's Angels Beware! so I need to figure out a way to get it.

My copy of The Man Who Collected Machen arrived today. It's beautiful!

The one book I ordered from Dan, last summer, came fine in a few days.

I've also known keith418, though not well, for years. He is not Barbara Roden.

When you provided the tracking number to my package it arrived at the northwesterly tip of the States safe and in under two weeks. I really hope you continue to offer US shipping, Dan.

Dan said he'd ship my books on Monday. Maybe he'll provide me a tracking number so we can see how it goes...

I ordered The Horrifying Presence and Other Tales a few days ago, so *fingers crossed* that it arrives within a reasonable amount of time.

I was lucky enough to score a copy of this from Cold Tonnage. I'll be interested to see if it makes it to me behind, or ahead, of the books Dan has promised to send.

Re: Ex Occidente Press

John Howard's The Silver Voices is a splendid book - thoroughly recommended. It has a great atmosphere and is thoughtfully and beautifully written. I suppose it comes into the fantasy genre in the same way as Wilfred Rowland Childe's Dream English, or Peter de Mendelessohn's The Hours and the Centuries.

Seignolle's The Black Cupboard is slightly odd. I've been reading Seignolle's excellent Malvenue and I'm not sure if The Black Cupboard is a deliberate change of style or whether this is down to the translator. It is a powerful story, but it didn't quite "flow" as I'd expected. Perhaps I'll give it twelve months and come back to it...

All the best

Ray
