Occultation is the Kindle Daily Deal for today (August 1, 2012), so curious readers can pick up the Kindle version for a mere $1.99.

Great deal! That link didn't work for me, and neither did the Kindle Daily Deal link I tried to make. Looks like you have to link directly to the I love carrying Ligotti and Barron around in my backpack at all times. Never know when you'll get a few quiet minutes...

Have you ever visited the Occultation page at Barnes & Noble? It was apparently a free nook giveaway at one point, and now, hilariously, has a two-star rating from many, many people angry at the "naughty language" in the book.

Got my copy from Amazon the other day........great deal.

Will start reading it after I finish Madeline Ashby's vN.
