From feeling uncomfortable about Blood Axis' imagery to posting Saga, and H.E.R.R. videos in only a few weeks... Feel free to tell my it's none of my business, I'm just curious.

Anyway, top get back on topic, this is a wonderfully playful instrumental hit by Horst Jankowski.

The hits of yesteryear are alive here, with The Singing Nun enjoying a renaissance on my record player.

The whole tragic - so tragic it almost feels like a caricature - story of The Singing Nun is told in the Youtube link.

From an aesthetic perspective I can't help but be amazed at how one man's concept of ghastliness in music can be another's concept of beauty, all the while they may have somewhat similar tastes in literature. I suppose those art-forms can be appreciated on many different frequencies.

I'd just rather be free to dabble in my own imagination than be solidly doctriniare politically.

I'm not laying down the law for anyone else, unlike some others. Make your own mind up. True persuasion comes from within, not from without.

Thanks. I was merely just curious about it. After all, I listen to a lot of bands that some would call shady - sometimes even I would call them shady - and I know that I wouldn'e exactly vote for anyone whose art I admire. I don't listen to those bands mentioned though, but as much for aesthetical and personal reasons than politicat.

What ticked my curiosity was more how imagery seemed was mentioned as disturbing, whereas, when such imagery wasn't present, the disturbingness wasn't mentioned (this is my interpretation at least). That is a thing that keeps interesting me, not laying down the law.

And, to keep the thread on topic, this remains, for me at least, the best piece of Texas psychedelic rock ever made - including the brilliant 13th Floor Elevators:
