My favorite moment is around 3:40.

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..
Been listening to a guy called Andy Stott lately whose tracks, whether it's just me or not, sound exactly what I'd expect a Ligotti story to sound like if it made noise.

Not really a song, I know.

Great scene from The Third Man! Orson is quite menacing. Mark, you should start a thread on movie clips starting with that one. I think it would be a popular thread. I know of more than a few I would like to post. I would gladly do it, but it is really your idea.
Here is one from Shadow of a Doubt. |

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..
I only discovered this brilliant singer/songwriter an hour ago while driving home in the sweltering Australian heat--a genius, unmistakable (and fortunately he has forty years worth of songs behind him). Chris Smither, "No Love Today":

I love Red Water! I also find this cover version particularly lovely.

(The lyric 'Maxwell smiles' has dodgy undertones undertones but the general refrain 'England - this septic isle' I find most apt)

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..
Yes, you're absolutely right there. I had meant septic when I posted this, but misspelt it then and used the auto-correct feature email to correct it - serves me right for letting machines take care of my linguistic misnomers. The better line I ought to have used was 'Britannica rotten to the core' but 'this septic isle' just happened to capture my own opinions at the time of posting.
Thanks for pointing that out. EDIT: Not that it's important but it's a reflection on my generation that if I had written 'sceptic' I would probably have spelt it with a K. Quote:

CURVE - WISH YOU DEAD
Not the official video. Loved some of Curve's stuff when I was younger and just recently going through some old CDs came across their Doppelganger album (sorry, no umlaut). |

Angel Corpus Christi - "Me And My Beretta"
Quite catchy, but I remember this being a controversial song when I was at university. I'm sure it would still be considered so today. I think it was left off their album for that reason. |
