What, no Session 9?

Great, provocative list. Some titles I have no intention of seeing, some I've been looking for for ages, some I love, and some I've never heard of, but will start looking for right now.

. . but, what no Misterios de ultratumba?

What, no The Devil's Rain?

I think Dellamore Dellamorte (Cemetery Man) is very underrated but no-one I recommend it to ever seems to like it..."you sure have a real nice ossuary"

I've seen Dellamorte Dellamore, Martin, The Brood, Angel Heart, and Antichrist from that list. Martin's my favorite of the bunch.

I enjoyed it. I had not heard of it until some friends gave me the dvd for Christmas. I second your recommendation.

It's missing Blood on Satan's Claw.

I was thinking exactly the same thing (this happens here so often I am developing paranoia)...but then I also would put BoSC in the top 25 Horror Films ever. Might be some nostalgia at play though.

A Jean Rollin would also be nice - maybe The Iron Rose...

I probably prefer Blood on Satan's Claw to The Wicker Man, as much as I love that too, in that little sub group of films Mark Gatiss recently called "folk horror". It's certainly far more scarier.

Yes, I agree - no "Blood on satans claw?"
However, keep in mind that wired is a tech magazine, and not really focused on culture.

Seen quite a few of the titles:
Son of Dracula (wrote an essay on development of horror film in school, this was my last example as the essay was to cover film industry from the start to mid-WWII era)
Begotten
Antichrist
Phenomena
Dead and Buried
The Omega Man

At least this list tops the "Best horror of all time"
25 Best Horror Films of All Time (NSFW) | Underwire | Wired.com

It has "shaun of the dead" on it - a parody. :(
