"Crypt of Ligotti" TeeLO Shirt to be Printed
 

The "Crypt of Ligotti" TeeLO Shirt will be printed and available within two weeks. Two dozen shirts will be ordered initially. This is not a pre-order scenario, however I do ask that if you intend on purchasing one of these shirts that you select your size via the poll in order to assure availability of the right fit.

These shirts will be professionally silk screened on a light blue cotton shirt of high quality construction. The cost, unless something changes with the vendor agreement, will be $15 + shipping. I have chosen not to include a design on the back of this shirt in order to control costs. Approximately $5.00 of each shirt purchased will go towards defraying the server and software costs for TLO, which are a minimum of $250 yearly.

The poll doesn't seem to be working at my end. Put me down for two (2) Large. (I've learned about shrinkage.) As I said in ShoutBox, my order and candy's order may be consolidated as one. Please advise when you figure actual shipping expenses. My check is almost in the mail. Thanks.

The shirts will be ordered, printed and delivered direct to me within 2-3 weeks. I am not going to to place the order until I get a good grasp of the sizes desired, though I will likely order at the halfway mark and double the size requests. The first order will be for two dozen shirts.

I will not be able to confirm the final price and shipping until the order has been placed and monies will not be requested until the shirts are in my hands. I want to ensure quality before I accept payment.

Payment will be accepted via PayPal, money order or check. Cash or barter will be accepted only under extreme cases, such as international buyers not able to pay via conventional exchange. These transactions must receive my pre-approval. Ordering details will be provided in a news announcement heralding the availability of the merchandise.

The next design to be printed will be "Horrific Consolations", as the black multi-color designs are proving problematic at the moment and may not be printed for some time. "Lost Art of Twilight" is not currently scheduled to be printed as a silk screen and will likely be relegated to a print on demand service, as there seemed to be minimal interest in owning the design. I assume that the design was considered a bit graphically controversial for public wear. Since this is a personal expenditure on my part, additional print runs will depend solely on demand. In other words, if you want one you should get them upon availability, as it may be your only chance!

Not one to stand idle in the tide when I can muddy the water with ease, I am going to provide a glimpse of the new design for the "Horrific Consolations" TeeLO Shirt. This version was recently planned to be released after "Crypt of Ligotti", but I am considering reversal of the order upon seeing a mock up. Both will be printed, mind you. Since there will likely be a delay between printing in order to turn over the monies into the following print run, I am merely debating on which one to print first.

The red text will be tweaked for contrast, but the woodcut graphic will remain decidedly muted in order to convey the stamping effect of the leather books. A higher resolution view of the graphic is provided below. Since I have reduced the number of colors to two, this makes a screen printed version of this design on black fabric feasible. First impressions?

My previous post had misrepresented the shirt in that the black background within the image area was shown as a different shade than the shirt itself. The screen ink will consist only of the gray woodcut and the red lettering, with the black shirt itself to represent the background. The image has now been corrected above and is a more accurate depiction of the design.

Everything is in place, and the final decision is to first print "Crypt of Ligotti" in a "lettered" series of 26. This design will cost $15.00 + actual shipping.

After receiving an inquiry regarding larger size shirts I learned that the printer can provide XX-Large shirts for $2.00 extra and XXX-Large Shirts for $3.00 extra. Since these shirts are printed en-masse, I must immediately hear from anyone interested in these size upgrades in order to assure availability. The poll has been amended to include the two additional sizes. If you have previously voted and wish to upgrade to a larger size, send a note via PM to Dr. Bantham or email to tlo@ligotti.net.

Remember, these Haynes Beefy-T are 100% "pre-shrunk" cotton.

I found a high quality silk screen printer locally and the order is to be finalized on Monday, after the image sizing is resolved and size quantities are committed to. There will be 36 shirts ordered featuring this design, which may not likely be printed again. It looks like the $15 purchase price (plus shipping) will be viable. Full details and images will be posted once the order has been produced, which I hope to be within a week.

Put me down for a Medium and lemme know when and where to send the check
