Re: Horror Books That Should Be Turned Into Movies

T.E.D. Klein's "Nadelman's God" could make for an interesting movie.

Re: Horror Books That Should Be Turned Into Movies

The comic book Stray Toasters by Bill Sienkiewicz; I think he wanted to adapt it as an animated film. And I totally agree on Flicker; Aronofsky was an inspired choice and the novel is superb.

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

Re: Horror Books That Should Be Turned Into Movies

The stories "The Button Bin" and "The Quilt Maker" (linked) from the story collection Unseaming by Mike Allen should be filmed as a joint venture between Lynch and Cronenberg, or maybe Michael Haneke for that brooding anxiety.
